We believe that a powerful, Global renaissance of trust has begun. Sparked by recent world events, business ethics, and the transparency of conversations enabled by the worldwide web, this call for a renaissance of high trust leadership is reverberating around the globe.
At The Speed of Trust Practice, we define leadership as producing results today in a way that inspires trust. Doing that consistently amplifies the speed with which you are able to influence and get results the next time—and there is always a next time. Simply put, trusted people have greater influence.
Our intent is to amplify this global ripple effect of high trust leadership. By influencing influencerswe mean that we inspire and activate people and organizations throughout the world to be high trust, high performers, and to make a difference in the lives of others. In doing this, we inspire our clients, as George Bernard Shaw expressed it, “ . . . to be used for a purpose recognized by themselves as a mighty one.”
We could have chosen a myriad of leadership topics to dedicate our efforts to.
Why high trust?
As we wrestled with the question of what is the key insight we’ve gained through our 20 years of direct experience as successful business leaders (and over a decade of extensive research), we have become passionately convinced that TRUST is the one thing that changes everything . . . and is the root of all leadership influence.
We believe that teaching people around the planet to establish, grow, extend, and restore trust is a noble cause – a cause that will raise the tide and lift all boats. We feel compelled to do this work and are inspired and energized by the positive impact our work consistently has on people and through them their organizations. We are fortunate to be uniquely qualified to do this work and feel called to do it.
At The Speed of Trust Practice, we emphasize action and the energizing vitality and influence this ripple effect creates. We equip teams and organizations to establish trust as a core competency. We advocate a life of significance, not just success, and high trust people and organizations that influence others and make contributions as well as profits. To this end, we intend to purposefully walk our talk.
