Donna K. Burnette

Donna K. Burnette first partnered with CoveyLink to build a Discovery Learning simulation based on The Speed of Trust. You can find her speaking on the topics of Trust and Discovery Learning.

Prior to partnering with CoveyLink, Donna was the CEO of Solutions House, whose client base includes Wal-Mart, Coca-Cola, Eli Lilly, General Motors and others. She also served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Paradigm Learning, where she was a driving force in Paradigm’s revenue growth. Additionally, she designed and implemented systems and processes that provided a foundation to sustain fast growth for the Custom Training Business Unit.

In earlier years, Donna was trained as a re-engineering consultant whose clients included Deutsche bank where she lead process re-engineering workshops for back offices. She was certified as a re-engineering consultant during her career at National Insurance Services where she was first Director of OD and then Vice President of Human Development.

In her fifteen years with General Motors, Donna moved from shop floor employee to a front-line supervisor and into assignments in personnel and training. She was recruited by General Electric and decided the opportunity to facilitate Jack Welch’s “Work-Out” process as Quality and Productivity Leader for two Lighting Plants was an opportunity to embrace.

Donna has an MS Organization Development from Bowling Green State University and a BS in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan. She taught Organization Development in Indiana Wesleyan’s Executive Development program. She has written featured articles in several trade publications. She also contributed an article, “Complex Organizational Change Through Discovery-based Learning,” to the book A Treasure Chest of Six Sigma.

LeRoy Maughan

LeRoy Maughan is a professional mentor. His expertise is identifying, connecting and facilitating the convergence of the people, places and things of commerce in order to deliberately fulfill the purpose, intent and the desired results of those organizations employing his services.

His mentoring style is engaging and interactive as a means of co-creating, with his participants, the right conditions to foster creative thinking, lively dialogue and practical, skill-practice activities intentionally aligned with purpose, intent and results. His mentoring talents have helped individuals, teams, organizations, associations and communities improve their performance and achieve their desired results.

LeRoy’s professional experiences are both broad and deep. His client experience includes work with multinational organizations; Fortune 500 companies; small businesses; entrepreneurial startups; government agencies (local to federal); US Military; auto makers, unions, pharmaceutical companies; financial institutions; network marketing companies; professional educators; professional service firms; etc.

LeRoy believes that true success is a collaborative experience achieved when the entities and energies of commerce are allowed to flow in the direction of clearly defined purpose and interchanged with the intent of mutual benefit. He believes that individual preparation, practice and willing participation are keys to being trustworthy which enhance personal performance and increase the probability of interdependent collaboration. This is a pattern for deliberately creating and sustaining desired results.

LeRoy stepped into the professional world of teaching, mentoring and facilitating in 1971. He transitioned into the world of business in 1980. He ventured into his first information technology company as an entrepreneur in 1981. His second IT company launched in 1984. He joined the Covey Leadership Center in 1993 as a senior-level consultant, facilitator, trainer and speaker and worked to inspire thousands of leaders, managers and their colleagues to greater professional effectiveness and more meaningful personal contribution.

LeRoy works with the Global Speed Of Trust Practice and his own professional development business, WEALworks Enterprises, L.L.C. He is dedicated to expanding individual and organizational well-being, prosperity and meaning throughout the world.

LeRoy and his wife Teri reside in Lindon, Utah. They have two married children and eight amazing grandchildren.
